I Am… a husband, father, teaching artist, writer, printmaker, photographer. I shoot from the heart and truly love what I do.
As a photographer for the last 30 years it’s incredible to me how the lifestyle of photography can be so diverse and ever expanding.
How I do it
We all take photos every day. Few make photos. To make a great photo you have to keep shooting. New angles, new lighting, new seasons, new people, new places, new things. This is what being a photographer, videographer, writer and teacher is all about.
It’s a lifestyle. It’s work. It’s play. It’s savoring life.
Where I live
In 2012 I moved to the town of Bend Oregon from Maui Hawaii. I’m originally from Rapid City South Dakota. I have always loved the feel of small towns and Bend is one of the most beautiful, fun, and active communities I have ever lived in!
